Mariana Guevara serves as the Export Program Manager and STEP (State Trade Expansion Program) Director at the California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz), working within the International Affairs and Trade Unit. In her role, Mariana is committed to advancing California’s economic prosperity by supporting small businesses in expanding their global reach. She oversees programs designed to promote California’s small business exports, contributing to the state’s leadership in international trade.
Prior to joining GO-Biz, Mariana worked as an International Business Development Specialist at the Sacramento Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Export Center. There, she provided technical assistance to minority business enterprises, focusing on helping them access and succeed in Asian markets.
