Mark Matsumoto is the founding member of the California Education and Training Export Consortium (CA ETEC), a nationally recognized leader in exporting U.S. student recruitment and workforce training services to Asia and the Middle East. Under his visionary leadership, CA ETEC was awarded the prestigious Presidential E-Award for Export Service by the U.S. Department of Commerce in 2011, followed by the E-Star Award in 2016—marking sustained excellence in international trade. The organization has directly facilitated over $100 million in U.S. service exports, including securing landmark contracts such as a national scholarship initiative with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In addition to his leadership in education services, Mr. Matsumoto is the founder and CEO of Network International Exports, Inc., a pioneering export trading company. He played a transformative role in introducing American-made kitchen disposers and top-tier grocery and consumer products to markets across Asia, Central America, and the Middle East, generating over $50 million in physical goods exports.
With a professional career spanning more than three decades, Mr. Matsumoto is widely regarded as a thought leader in international business. He has conducted over 500 trade seminars and executive briefings, reaching more than 20,000 entrepreneurs, educators, and policymakers across the United States and overseas markets.
